Blacks Harbour is a village in New Brunswick with a population of less than 1000. It is located on the coast of the Bay of Fundy. This is the place of the terminal from where the year-round ferry leaves for Grand Manan Island.
Every time I travel to Grand Manan Island, I arrive at Blacks Harbour very early in the morning to make sure I get to the very first ferry of the day. And while I am waiting in the line I have 30-40min to walk around the harbour and take a few early morning foggy shots.
Shooting & Processing
It was not necessary to bracket my shots because the fog served as the giant defuser making the overall lighting less dynamic. But, I took 3 bracketed shots (-1, 0, +1) anyway as insurance.
I used single RAW image editing in Lightroom. I described the process in Introduction to Lightroom Rapid Editing System.
