I took the featured photo while hiking along the rocky coast of Grand Manan Island. This island is in the middle of the Bay of Fundy on the Atlantic Coast of Canada in the New Brunswick province.
I spotted the ferry boat long before it reached the island and immediately had an idea for the shot. I had plenty of time to setup the tripod, choose the right angle and wait until the boat reached the perfect spot.
I think this shot well represents the essence of Atlantic Canada and its beauty
