This is a shot of downtown Montreal from the roof of Alexandra Quay in Old Port. The Old Port of Montreal has four original Quays, and after the port was moved to another location the quays were transformed to something different than their original purpose.
The Alexandria Quay was transformed into a multilevel parking lot. For years, while working at Multimedia City, I had a parking spot at Alexandria Quay. I always tried to pick the furthest spot on the top level so I could take a couple of pictures at the end of the day before driving home.
If you are in Montreal and looking for interesting travel photography opportunities, go to the very end of Alexandria Quay. The view from the pier is worth checking out.
