After two week of miserable weather in Montreal with the first snow, we are heaving real Indian summer. With the temperature around 15C, high humidity and no wind it felt line summer.
I grabbed my photo gear and went to my favorite sunset spot in Montreal – Rene Levesque Park. Even when the weather is not too great you still can find people who come to witness the sun submerging into Saint Lawrence River.
Shooting & Processing
The only challenge with this shot was to wait for people to stop moving because the shutter speed was getting slower and slower with the each minute.
I took 3 bracketed shots on a tripod but used only middle exposure for editing.
I used Lightroom Rapid Editing for Landscapes, applying Natural preset first from Landscape Collection and then used TOOLKIT adjustments.
Lightroom Editing Formula: Natural (1, 8, 31, 40)
At the end, I added the Radial Filter with the warm orange hue to emphasize the colors of the sunset.
