This photo is from Moonstone Beach, the location somewhere between Los Angeles and San Francisco along California State Route 1. As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I strategically picked this beautiful place for overnight stays during my travel photography trips. It allows me to take advantage of golden sunset and sunrise hours.
For this particular sunrise photo I used long exposure technique (1/15 – 0.5 sec) to make water look smooth and silky and later processed 4 bracketed exposures for HDR in Photomatix.
